Our mission is to extend educational opportunities through athletic competition and competitive performance. These 5 week long sessions will promote citizenship, sportsmanship, a healthy lifestyle, and positive life skills in our student athletes.
Higley Hangout is an out-of-school time program that offers a variety of activities including organized indoor and outdoor games, developmental centers, arts and crafts, and study/ homework time. Afternoon snacks are provided at no additional cost, we do recommend bringing a snack from home.
Higley Hangout is not a licensed childcare facility under section §36-884. Thus, Higley Hangout, offered through the Community Education department, provides only recreational or instructional activities to children who may enter into and depart from the facility at their own volition. The facility may require the children to document their entrance into and departure from the facility. This documentation does not affect the exemption under this paragraph.

Any schedule modifications must be submitted by 12pm on Wednesdays. Invoices issued by Thursdays. Payments will be drafted on Saturday.
